Physical Education Fun at Home
There are many ways to encourage fitness at home without having a lot of expensive equipment. My desire for this page is to give you simple ideas the whole family can participate in to continue an active lifestyle while spending some quality time together.
Long Jumping Rope:
Kids love to jump long rope and there never seems to be enough time for everyone to get their fill at school. There is often not enough adult long rope turners to aid in the success of the student jumping. Why not try jumping long rope at home. If you need steps to being a successful long rope turner send me an email and I'll share my tips and trick.

Moving to music:
See what kinds of movements you and your child can create in a simple pattern to a favorite song. We will be working all year to move our bodies to the beat of various fun songs. What better place for your child to gain confidence in this activity but at home. Movements need not be hard or complexed. Songs with 4-6 steps that repeat throughout the song work great. Add some clapping to your movements for added fun. See if you can get that heart rate up while have family fun.
